Are you going to Heaven?

Have you ever wondered, when a loved one has died, if you'll ever see them again? Have you ever thought, "where will I go when I die?" If you've thought either of these questions, you've come to the right place. Not that I have all the answers mind you, but I know where to find them.

The Bible says in Hebrews 9:27, " And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:" So if you are a human being, you will face a judgment. But there's one thing you need to know. There are two judgments told of in the Bible. One for those going to Heaven, and one for those going to Hell.

The one for those going to Heaven, is called the Judgment Seat of Christ. It is talked about in 2 Corinthians 5:10, "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad." Paul is talking to the saved here. Now, who are the saved? We'll find that out in a minute.

When we get to Heaven (those of us that are saved)  will be judged for our actions after salvation. Not for whether we'll stay in Heaven or not, but to determine our rewards we will receive. 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 explains," Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;  Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire." The gold, silver, and precious stones are the good things we did in life, while the wood, hay, and stubble are the bad things we did in life.

Now, on to the other judgment. This one is called the White Throne Judgment. It is told of in Revelation 20:11-12A, "And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life:" then in verse 15, " and whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

So, dear friend, which judgment will you face? Would you like to know the qualifications for both?

In case you haven't already noticed, you are a sinner. You do bad things. We all do. The Bible says in Romans 3:10, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one." In chapter 3 verse 23, it says, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" So, if you are a sinner, you will face the second judgment.

Would you like to know how to go to Heaven? Of course you do!! That's why you've read this far!

So, we've seen that we're sinners. The Bible says that God cannot allow sin into Heaven. What hope do we have then? Romans 6:23 is the answer, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

The debt we have to pay for our sin is death, and we pay our debt in Hell. But, John 3:16 says,"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." That is our gift from God. He sent His Son, Jesus, who willingly gave himself to pay for all man kind. He was the only one who could, being sinless.

You may be asking, how do I accept this gift?

Romans 10:9-10 gives us the answer, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Romans 10:13 goes a little further, and says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." That means anyone can be saved. That means the drunk on the street, the rich man in the mansion, the child playing outside, and especially, dear friend, it means you.

There is a reason you read this today. God has a special plan, just for you. Will you accept God's precious Gift? I beg you to do so.

If you would like to accept Jesus and be saved today, go ahead and pray a prayer something like this, "Dear God, I know that I am a sinner, and cannot get to Heaven on my own. I know that you sent your Son to die on a cross for my sin. I'm trusting in you alone to save me, and take me to Heaven. In Jesus name I pray, Amen."

Now, if you just prayed this prayer or something like it, and meant it with all your heart, you are saved and a child of God. I'd like very much if you'd leave a comment, or contact me through my email,  telling me your decision. I'll be so glad, and pray for you. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me. If I don't know, I can find out from the Bible.

I want you to know, that the Bible says, "Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels over one sinner that repenteth." They're having a celebration in Heaven because YOU just got saved!!!!

I also want you to understand, that you will not stop sinning. But you should have a desire in your heart to do right. 1 John 1:9 tells us what to do when we sin, " If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

I would like to encourage you to read (or go buy) an old King James Version Bible, find a Bible preaching church, and serve your new Savior. Also, talk to Him in prayer often. He loves for His children to speak to Him.

One last thing I'd like you to know, is that once your saved, your always saved. You CANNOT lose your salvation.

In John 10:27-30 it says "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one."

Now that you are there, no one, not no one, can pluck you out of the Father's hand.

     God Bless!!!!!
