Sorry it's been so long since I lasted posted. I have a lot to catch up on, so I'll get on with it. =P

First up...we got our hamsters! The one in the pic above is mine. I haven't gotten pictures of the other two yet, but they're both black with a few white spots on them.

....I got some sunglasses! Rachel's are the pink ones, and mine are the white. I've put off getting sunglasses for a while, but I really like these.

Sorry for not posting for the What's your Focus? Challenge the past two days. I've been really busy. Once again, I'll only be doing it the second week of every month from now on.

Well, this is the fourth day of my second week of the What's your Focus? Challenge.

I've decided that instead of doing it every day, to do the challenge for one week every month. Probably the second week of the month.

I took this a while back, and honestly, the pictures don't do these clouds justice. 

They were majestic. 

They were absolutely amazing.

Even though it's not the greatest picture I ever took, I love it.

Here is the last flower of this week's challenge.

I learned some things this week.

I learned that it's hard to post every day.

I learned that doing this challenge reminds me to think of God's Handiwork 

every single day.

And I also learned that we can learn something from all of God's Creation, 

big, and small.

What's your Focus Challenge: Day 5 (flowers)

Nothing too spectacular for today's photo (what am I saying?! All of God's creation is amazing!)

These are Azaleas, a very common flower in Louisiana (well, at least I see them a lot.)

I took this pic when I went with my brother's church school to the zoo. I was a "counselor", (O come on! I was as excited as the other kids! Lol!)

Just realized that I didn't post a flower for the themes yesterday! 

I was rather lazy yesterday, because of it being Thanksgiving and all.

I suppose that when you're THAT stuffed with turkey, you forget about some things.=)

This picture was not edited, and was taken with my first digital camera (look at "my gear" page), so it's not the best of quality, but I still like this flower.

Themes: Day 3-Flowers

Here's my themes flower picture for today!

This little flower (though some may call it a weed) represents what I'm thankful for this Thanksgiving. 

I'm thankful for the little things. 

I'm thankful for the things some people call insignificant or unimportant (like this little flower). 

I'm thankful for everyday blessings.

      Things like grading a perfect paper, getting dirty with my little brother and my dog, Sarah, feeling a strong, cool breeze, drinking a perfect cup of coffee out of a simple, pretty mug, taking a picture I'm awed at because of the way it captured God's beautiful creation, the little nuggets of knowledge God reveals to me in my Bible reading, my dad reading to us and replacing the character's names with our own, looking at a sink recently emptied of dirty dishes through working together with Mark, laughing at my little sister's silly antics, sitting quietly on the swing at church with Megan, each of us thinking our own thoughts, the simple pleasure of learning something new on the piano thanks to wonderful friends, and the list goes on and on.

Anyway, that's a few of the things I'm thankful for. And you know what else? I'm thankful that Thanksgiving does NOT only come once a year! It can be every day for the rest of your life.

I took a lot of pictures today, but I'll have to post them tomorrow.

For now, I'm going to post my flower of the day. It's one of the ones I took today, and I think it came out very good. 

The first one was the original, but then I had fun experimenting with different colors. I decided to post them all. Which one do you like?
