My first Senior photoshoot

Saturday was a day I've been waiting for at least,  two years. My best friend's senior photos. We had a great Saturday morning of going to a close friend's graduation ceremony. However when we got home, things did not go as planned. I'll admit, I got a little stressed over that, but in the end, we went away with some great pictures.

Here's just a few I've edited so far.

I learned that it's very different posing just one person instead of two or more. It's something I definitely have to work on. But of course, the greatest way to learn is by experience. I'm thinking of doing a post on things I've learned from my photoshoots, I just have to write it all down.

Photoshoots

So now that I got a second to breathe (for a little while anyway ^_-) I want to share a glimpse of what I've been up to.

~Friday & Monday~
engagement shoot

Then, I got a facebook message Friday night while I was editing pictures about doing a birthday party on Saturday.

Had lots of fun with this family, and can't wait to shoot for their vows renewal next Thursday.

Oh, and I just ordered a new camera bag!

What do you think?

I can't wait for it to come in!

I'll be gone for the next three days for a friend's birthday, so I gotta go pack.

Have a great week!

fun times

Hello everyone!

I know I haven't been on here in forever. I've been super busy (but you've heard that excuse before, haven't you?). I found out recently that they're shutting down my favorite editing website.

How many of you have ever used this website? Its amazingly simple and awesome when you have a ton of photos to edit. For example, when you've just done a family photoshoot with nearly 600 pictures. I mean, I have a pro editing program, but I'm kinda having a hard time figuring it out.

So anyways, without further ado, allow me to share with you some pictures I've been taking.

(lol this one makes me laugh)

And if you actually survived that backlog of pictures....tell me what you think. Which ones are your favorites? Do you have any photography advice you can give me? What are your favorite things to take pictures of?
